Quarri Free Tier Terms
Free Tier Terms v3 · 14 October 2026
These terms apply when your organisation uses Quarri’s free tier. You accept them by continuing past the sign-in screen. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. About these terms
1.1 Who the agreement is between. These Free Tier Terms are an agreement between the organisation you sign up for (the "Customer", "you") and Quarri AI Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office at 390 NE 191st St STE 18580, Miami, FL 33179 ("Quarri", "we"). This is the same contracting entity as the MSA.
1.2 How you accept. By continuing past the sign-in screen you accept these Free Tier Terms on behalf of your organisation, and you confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not have that authority, do not continue.
1.3 Business use only. The free tier is for organisations using Quarri in their business. It is not offered to consumers. If a workspace is not used by an organisation in its business, we may close it under section 7.1.
1.4 How these terms fit with our other terms.
- These Free Tier Terms govern the free tier.
- The website terms at quarri.ai/terms govern the website only.
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information about you and your users.
- If your organisation signs a Master Services and Subscription Agreement with us (an "MSA"), the MSA replaces these Free Tier Terms (section 11).
2. The free tier
2.1 The free tier gives your organisation one Quarri workspace, free of charge, with no time limit. It includes one data connector, which you set up yourself in Claude. Further connectors, and any work by the Quarri team, are on the Enterprise plan under an MSA (section 11).
2.2 The free tier comes with no service level:
- No service level applies.
- The uptime and recovery figures on our security page do not apply.
- The service levels in our customer agreements do not apply.
2.3 One free workspace per organisation. We may decline a sign-up. Suspension and closure are covered in section 7.1.
2.4 You may invite people in your organisation to the workspace ("Authorised Users"). You are responsible for their use of it, and for keeping sign-in credentials confidential.
3. Your data
3.1 Definitions. These follow the MSA definitions, so that nothing changes if you move to a paid plan.
- "Free Tier Data" means all data, information and content submitted, uploaded or otherwise transmitted by you or an Authorised User through the Platform on the free tier. It includes any data extracted from your connected systems.
- "Free Tier Tools" means any custom tools, skills, workflows, automations, dashboards, queries or configurations that you or your Authorised Users create or save in the workspace.
3.2 Your data is yours.
- You own your Free Tier Data and your Free Tier Tools.
- You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, process and display Free Tier Data only as needed to provide the free tier to you.
- We do not sell, share or disclose Free Tier Data to third parties, except as needed to provide the free tier or as required by law.
- We do not use Free Tier Data to train AI models. (MSA 11.1 is narrower here: see open point 4.)
3.3 Demo data. If you choose demo data, your workspace starts with public price statistics from their official publishers, with each publisher's attribution. It contains no customer data.
3.4 Connecting your own systems.
- Connect only data that you are entitled to share with a service provider.
- Connector credentials are entered through a one-time link and stored encrypted.
3.5 No personal data in the workspace. This follows MSA 11.3.
- The free tier is designed for business and operational data. It is not designed for personal data (information about an identified or identifiable person).
- You agree not to put personal data into the workspace. You will use reasonable efforts to exclude, remove or anonymise it before connecting a source.
- For Free Tier Data, we do not act as a processor of personal data, and no data processing agreement is offered on the free tier.
- If personal data is nonetheless in Free Tier Data, we will treat it as your Confidential Information and protect it as described in section 3.6.
- If you need Quarri to process personal data, talk to us about an MSA with data processing terms.
- Personal information about you and your Authorised Users as account holders (names, work email addresses, sign-in and usage records) is handled under our Privacy Policy. For that information, Quarri is the controller.
3.6 Security. We protect Free Tier Data with the measures described on our security page, which include:
- a separate database for each customer;
- AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2 or later in transit;
- role-based access and audit logging;
- each sign-in reaching only the databases that user has been given.
Hosting region. Free tier workspaces are hosted in the United States, in the US East region. There is no choice of region on the free tier; the Enterprise plan offers a US or EU region.
3.7 Aggregated statistics, methods and tools. This follows MSA 11.4 and 12.5.
- We may compile anonymised statistics about use of the Platform. They do not identify you or your data.
- Tools, techniques and methods we develop remain ours, provided we do not disclose your Free Tier Data or Confidential Information in doing so.
4. Using Quarri through Claude
4.1 You use Quarri through Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, by adding Quarri as a connector. Your use of Claude is under your own agreement with Anthropic.
4.2 What Claude sees. When you ask Claude a question, Claude calls Quarri's tools. What those tools return, which can include Free Tier Data, goes into your conversation with Claude. Anthropic handles it under your Claude plan and Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy, not under these Free Tier Terms.
- Anthropic's privacy policy for individual accounts says conversation content, including content from connected services, may be used to train its models unless you opt out in your settings.
- Check your organisation's Claude plan and settings before you connect data you consider sensitive.
- Quarri does not control Claude. For this flow, Anthropic is your provider, not Quarri's subcontractor.
Separately, Quarri's search features use OpenAI models run by Microsoft Azure, through our data platform provider, to turn text into search embeddings. These are processed in the data platform's region.
4.3 Quarri is not Anthropic, and Anthropic is not a party to these terms.
4.4 AI output. Answers and analysis produced with AI can be wrong. Review them before relying on them for material decisions. Quarri does not give financial, legal or investment advice.
5. Acceptable use
5.1 You will not, and will not let any Authorised User:
- (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform or its documentation;
- (b) reverse engineer, disassemble or decompile the Platform, or try to derive its source code;
- (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute or transfer access to the Platform;
- (d) use the Platform to build a competing product or service;
- (e) remove or alter any proprietary notices;
- (f) try to access another customer's data, or probe or test the Platform's isolation or security, without our written consent;
- (g) benchmark the Platform for publication without our written consent;
- (h) put into the Platform data that you have no right to process, or personal data (section 3.5);
- (i) open more than one free workspace for the same organisation, or create workspaces by automated means;
- (j) use the free tier to send email to anyone outside your organisation; or
- (k) use the Platform in any way that breaks applicable law.
5.2 We may suspend the workspace while we investigate a suspected breach of this section.
6. Free tier limits
6.1 On the free tier:
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| Data connectors | One, set up by you in Claude |
| Authorised Users | Two |
| Data volume | 1 GB |
| Scheduled jobs | One: a script, alert or email that runs on a schedule |
| Emails | Five a week, to addresses in your organisation |
Your data connector refreshes on its own schedule; that schedule is not a scheduled job.
6.2 Some things need the Quarri team and are not part of the free tier; they are on Enterprise:
- further data connectors;
- connecting on-premise systems;
- scanned documents;
- anything that spans more than one workspace.
7. When the free tier ends, and your data
7.1 The free tier has no fixed end date. It continues until:
- (a) your organisation moves to a paid plan (section 11);
- (b) you close the workspace, which you can do at any time;
- (c) we close it, on 30 days' notice to the email address used at sign-up;
- (d) we close it, on 30 days' notice, after 6 months in which nobody has signed in; or
- (e) we suspend or close it straight away under section 5.2, or where it presents a security risk.
7.2 If you move to a paid plan, your workspace carries on unchanged (section 11).
7.3 If the free tier ends without a move to a paid plan (any of 7.1(b) to (e)):
- (a) Scheduled jobs (connector refreshes, alerts, scheduled emails) stop when the free tier ends.
- (b) The workspace stays available read-only for 30 days, so you can export your Free Tier Data and Free Tier Tools. This does not apply where we close it under 7.1(e).
- (c) After that, we delete the workspace and its Free Tier Data within 7 days.
- (d) Deleted data leaves our rolling backups within 30 days.
7.4 You can ask us to delete your workspace and Free Tier Data at any time. We will confirm in writing when it is done, within 14 days of your request.
7.5 Operational records, such as logs of tool calls and sign-in events, are kept for security and support as described in our Privacy Policy. The platform log is kept for 90 days.
8. Confidentiality
8.1 "Confidential Information" means non-public information that one of us discloses to the other in connection with the free tier, and that is marked confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential. It includes Free Tier Data.
8.2 Each of us will:
- keep the other's Confidential Information confidential;
- share it only with employees, advisers and contractors who need to know it and are bound by obligations at least as protective; and
- use it only for the free tier.
8.3 Exceptions. Information is not confidential if it:
- is or becomes public through no fault of the recipient;
- was known to the recipient before disclosure;
- is received from a third party without a duty of confidentiality; or
- is independently developed.
Disclosure required by law is allowed, with prompt notice where the law permits.
8.4 These obligations last 3 years after the free tier ends. Obligations for trade secrets last as long as the information remains a trade secret.
9. Intellectual property and feedback
9.1 Quarri's rights. We own the Platform, the services, the documentation and all intellectual property in them. On the free tier you may use the Platform for your internal business purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9.2 Feedback. If you give us feedback, we may use it without restriction or obligation to you.
10. No warranty; limitation of liability
10.1 No warranty. The free tier is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The MSA's limited warranty (MSA 14.2) and SLA do not apply to the free tier.
10.2 No indirect loss. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither of us will be liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunity, arising out of or related to the free tier. This applies whatever the legal theory, and whether or not that party was advised of the possibility of such damages.
10.3 Cap. Each party's total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the free tier will not exceed US$100.
10.4 Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Moving to a paid plan
11.1 If your organisation signs an MSA, the MSA replaces these Free Tier Terms from its Effective Date.
- The free workspace, its Free Tier Data and its Free Tier Tools carry on as Customer Data and Customer Tools under the MSA. Nothing needs to be re-uploaded or rebuilt.
- From then on, the MSA's terms on data export and deletion (MSA 9.3) apply in place of section 7.
11.2 Free Tier Data, and the information each of us shared while you were on the free tier, are treated as disclosed under the MSA, so the MSA's confidentiality terms cover them.
12. Governing law
12.1 These Free Tier Terms, and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
13. General
13.1 Changes. We may update these Free Tier Terms. We will email the sign-up address at least 30 days before a material change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can close the workspace before then; using it after that date means you accept the new version.
13.2 Notices. Notices to you go to the email address used at sign-up. Notices to us go to theo@quarri.ai.
13.3 Assignment. You may not assign these terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor to our business.
13.4 Entire agreement and severability. These Free Tier Terms are the whole agreement about the free tier. If any part is unenforceable, the rest continues.
