# Quarri

> Quarri is the timber data platform, built and
> operated by Quarri AI Inc. AI-native, it sits over the systems a forestry or lumber
> business already runs, reconciles them into one governed layer, and answers
> questions in plain English with deterministic numbers rather than estimates.

## What it does

Quarri connects buying, production, sales and inventory from standing forest to
finished product. The platform covers eight steps: connect to existing systems;
Capture from PDFs, tickets and contracts; cross-system
reconciliation; forecasting; process and yield analytics; scheduling and
inventory; purchasing and sales optimisation; and an open build layer for
analytics and scripts teams can share and edit.

It is a layer over existing systems, not a replacement for them. Numbers are
computed deterministically, so the AI reads and explains results rather than
generating them.
